November 6, 2017 - Kaye's Christmas Story

What does a mother do when she is losing hope and feeling as if the whole world is crashing down around her?

One desperate mother chose to fall on her knees and ask God to help. He answered her prayers through you and your Baptist Children’s Village.

Kaye’s story has a happy ending but she once walked a dark and destructive path. In response to bad relationships and tremendous personal loss, she turned to drugs to numb the pain and escape her life.

August 21, 2017 - Annual Report

August 14, 2017 - Jenna's Story

You freed Jenna!

Today, Jenna is a beautiful young woman with a lovely smile, bright eyes, and a complexion that rivals any model on the cover of a magazine. She is growing in her faith, finally sees her potential, and is working hard to make her dreams come true. 

Before coming to The Baptist Children’s Village, Jenna’s life was like a caged bird never having the freedom to sing or fly.

The Baptist Children’s Village Deanash Campus is celebrating 35 years as a part of this statewide ministry on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 80 Sellers St, Wiggins, Mississippi. The public is invited.

Wow! Mississippi Baptists have been seeking and restoring lost children and broken families for more than a century. The Baptist Children’s Village (then called “The Mississippi Baptist Orphanage”) received its first child on Wednesday, May 12, 1897, and has continued ministering to children and families, uninterrupted, for 120 years.  Join us in celebrating the 120-year anniversary of The Baptist Children’s Village (“BCV”). Throughout this entire year, let us reflect upon, remember and rejoice in God’s faithfulness from the beginning of this ministry.  Here, let us raise our Ebenezer.
