You must have a heart for reaching at-risk children and families with the Gospel of Jesus..
Our team is willing to engage discomfort for the sake of the families we serve.
You must have a learner’s posture and be willing to consistently learn and grow.
There are thousands of children and families in Mississippi that feel hopeless because of the anxiety, instability and pain they face everyday. They need their physical and emotional needs met but that’s not enough. In order to experience true hope, they need to meet Jesus.
We are on a mission at The BCV to introduce them to the good news that says…
You are safe.
You are heard.
You are loved.
You are not alone.
You are valued.
You have a Savior.
In Him there is hope.
Our trauma-informed, residential and non-residential programs are designed to help families experience those things while providing the support and resources they need to thrive.
We believe that when children and families have holistic support that meets their physical, emotional and spiritual needs they can grow into mature and thriving Christian adults.
The quality of our communication both internally and externally is vital to the effectiveness of our work.
Ongoing training and support is how we grow as individuals for the sake of the children and families we serve.
Expectant prayer is critical to the success of our work as we seek the wisdom and provision of our Heavenly Father.
In order for that to happen they need advocates to help them overcome the trauma and circumstances that are keeping them in a cycle of hopelessness. When you join The BCV you become part of a team making an eternal impact on families of Mississippi.
