August 6, 2015 - $50,000 Matching Gift through 9/1/15
The BCV is the recipient of a $50,000 matching gift to support our Back-to-School fundraiser. This means that any gift designated for Back-to-School between now and September 1, 2015 will be doubled. July 8, 2015 - Clarke College Alumni Memorial Gift
Mr. Paul Lee, representing the Clarke College Alumni Association, presents a check in memory of Juanita West, who was twice a faculty member of Clarke College and very involved in the work at Camp Garaywa in Clinton, MS, to Dr. Rory Lee, BCV Executive Director, to provide a scholarship for a female resident to attend Camp Garaywa this summer. May 27, 2015 - Mother's Day Gift
BCV Executive Director, Dr. Rory Lee, is presented with a check for $10,415.31 which was collected during the BCV Annual Mother's Day Offering by FBC Vicksburg. April 13, 2015 - 2015 Mother's Day Annual Offering
Every year The Baptist Children's Village provides a safety net for children whose family trees are broken. We know that changing one life changes generations and together we can build new family trees. The Mississippi Baptist Convention has designated Mother's Day, May 10, 2015 as the day of emphasis for The Baptist Children's Village. FREE Vacation Bible School name tags from The Baptist Children's Village. There are two themes. One to compliment the Lifeway theme and one generic for all curriculum. There are also opportunities for BCV speakers to come to your church and for VBS mission projects.

February 19, 2015 - MS Widows Sons Grand Chapter Gift
Chris Yon, President of Mississippi Widows Sons Grand Chapter, presented a $1,500 gift to The Baptist Children's Village. Bill Tate, BCV Campus Director for the Farrow Manor Campus in Coldwater, MS and Reedy Acres Campus in Water Valley, MS accepted the check on behalf of the ministry.
February 19, 2015 - Valentine's Day Gifts
The students of the Madison Central High School Interact Club for providing Valentine goodie bags for the residents on all seven campuses of The Baptist Children's Village.
November 3, 2014 - A Child's Sacrifice
Thank you to 9 year-old Owen Makamson for sharing his birthday with the boys and girls at The Baptist Children's Village. Owen asked his friends to bring snacks and sports drinks for The BCV children rather than bring gifts to him. What a generous and kind young man!

October 3, 2014 - Mississippi Gives Day
The Baptist Children's Village is participating in Mississippi Gives Day, December 10, 2014. Mississippi Gives Day is a statewide day of giving initiative which takes place during a 24-hour period each December. Donations are accepted year-round through the website MississippiGives.org with a goal to inspire and unite Mississippians in supporting local nonprofits.Your donation to participating 501(c)3 nonprofits on this website is tax deductible.
