|CORE (Coalition of Residential Excellence)
We share their belief that “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.” This Ecclesiastes truth reinforces the value of collaboration among believers and ministries with shared responsibilities to rescue hurting children. CORE is the only national organization exclusively representing children’s homes and boarding schools providing residential (home-like) non-treatment related services to children living away from their families.

The stated purpose of this organization is “to speak with a unified voice to enhance the quality of life of Mississippi’s children in out-of-home care and their families through services of advocacy, education and empowerment.
|The Mississippi Baptist Convention Board
The Baptist Children’s Village is the official child care agency of the Mississippi Baptist Convention; and enjoys widespread support from the Convention Board itself and from churches who are a part of the Convention. Volunteer involvement, financial and prayer support all enable the BCV to daily take the good news of Jesus Christ to children and families.
|Mississippi Baptist Foundation
“But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.” (Exodus 17:12) Just as God used Aaron and Hur to support Moses and help Israel accomplish the task God gave them, so the Mississippi Baptist Foundation makes it possible for The Baptist Children’s Village to accomplish the mission God has set before us. Investments friends make through this foundation help ensure the BCV will continue to take the good news of Jesus Christ to children and families.
Children in Child Protective Services Custody need to hear and experience the hope of Christ. For this reason, The Baptist Children’s Village is voluntarily licensed enabling us to do that which God has called us to do—share the love of Christ with hurting children and families-many of whom have not and would not know of His love if it were not for the efforts of Mississippi Baptists through the BCV.
