BCV residents are getting ready for a new school year. We are well stocks on typical supplies like crayons, pencils, pens, etc.), but there are a few items and fees which we would appreciate your help providing for the children.

There are several new employment opportunities available at The Baptist Children's Village. Some are statewide and one at the headquarters in Ridgeland, Mississippi. June 25, 2014 - Alumni Reunion
The Bi-Annual Alumni Reunion of The Baptist Children's Village (formerly The Baptist Orphange) is schedule for Friday and Saturday, July 11-12, 2014 in Clinton, Mississippi. Click here to learn more and register for the event.
May 13, 2014 - Dorcas Program Helps Families at Home
The Dorcas In-Home Family Support Program is now serving more than 20 counties in Mississippi. It is designed to minister to families who are near the point of collapse. The BCV Dorcas Program helps families create homes that are safe and stable for children. Dorcas Program staff helps families reach these goals by providing education and training in areas such as child-rearing and appropriate discipline, household budgeting and shopping, meal planning and preparation, and household safety and care.
April 8, 2014 - Mother's Day Annual Offering
The Mississippi Baptist Convention has designated Mother's Day, May 11, 2014, as a day of emphasis for The Baptist Children's Village. These monetary gifts make it possible for The BCV to continue to care for, encouarge, guide and invest in the lives of deserving children.

March 7, 2014 - Sexual Abuse Awareness Training
Sexual Abuse Awareness Training is Tuesday, April 29, 2014, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Heights Baptist Church, Clinton, Mississippi. The event is free, but registration is required and lunch is included.
