March 7, 2014 - Sexual Abuse Awareness Training

Sexual Abuse Awareness Training is Tuesday, April 29, 2014, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Heights Baptist Church, Clinton, Mississippi.  The event is free, but registration is required and lunch is included.

December 13, 2013 - Nissan Toy Drive

The generous employees of Nissan North America in Canton, Mississippi collected toys for several non-profits through their annual Christmas toy drive this holiday season.  Several employees from the Canton plant delievered toys to The Baptist Children's Village.  These wonderful new toys will fill Christmas wishes for children served through The BCV ministry throughout Mississippi.

November 25, 2013 - Monticello WMU

The Woman's Missionary Union at Monticello Baptist Church hosted Celeste Cade, BCV Public Relations Associate, as their November guest speaker and donated pantry items for Dickerson Place Campus in Brookhaven.

November 25, 2013 - Holiday Turkeys

Thank you to Barry Biggers, of the Greater Jackson Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, for delivering turkeys for use in our ministry this holiday season.

October 31, 2013 - BCV Staff at the MS Baptist Convention

Chrystelle Thames, BCV Director of Public Relations, and Rory Lee, BCV Executive Director, meet with messengers to the Mississippi Baptist Convention at First Baptist Church Jackson on October 28-30, 2013 to say thank you to Mississippi Baptist churches for their generous support to the ministry and to share information with them about the new non-residential program available to help families.

October 31, 2013 - Boy Shares Birthday with BCV

Meet 10 year old Richie Lilly from Pontotoc, MS. This young man asked his friends and family to help him provide school supplies for The BCV instead of buying him gifts for his 10th birthday. When asked why he would do this he said, "I looked around my room and saw I didn't have anymore room for stuff and wanted to help someone else." We are so blessed by Richie's generosity! He is pictured with his mom, Michelle.

October 31, 2013 - Mississippi College Student Volunteers

The guys of Rotaract, a Men's Service Club at Mississippi College, are helping with Fall Cleanup at The BCV headquarters.
