April 29, 2020 - Mother's Day Annual Offering
The Mississippi Baptist Convention emphasis for The Baptist Children's Village Annual Offering is scheduled around Mother's Day each year. As Southern Baptist Churches focus on family between Mother's Day and Father's Day, we encourage them to pray for BCV families who are struggling, and for the children who are in our care. We also appreciate their continued support and generous gifts to the ministry.
April 29, 2020 - VBS Name Tag Promo Canceled
Since so many churches remain uncertain about if or when they will have VBS, we have decided to cancel our VBS name tag promotion for this year. However, when decisions are made about VBS dates, we are happy to send a BCV representative to participate in your missions class, kick-off, commencement, etc. We are also pleased to recommend mission project ideas where kids can help kids. We thank you for all you do to point your community to Christ and we continue to pray for wisdom for all as we navigate these challenging times.
April 7, 2020 - Email Scam Alert
In every crisis there are those perpetrators of fraud who raise their heads. It seems our COVID-19 crisis is no different. Some of you may have received an email asking you to purchase gift cards for BCV staff or children through Google. This is a SCAM. Please ignore this even if it comes from someone you know. Fraudsters access names from your contact list so it looks like the request came from your friend. Simply delete the email.
March 31, 2020 - Maggie's Life-changing Story

February 1, 2020 - Cade & Jance: Football Meets Faith
The buzz around a lot of dinner tables around the country and certainly here in Mississippi revolves around football at this time of year. That is not so different around our BCV dinner tables. This is definitely the case in a cottage where a 15-year old resident is working hard to earn some varsity team playing time on the field this fall.

Thank you to Harley Davidson of Central Mississippi for hosting their annual Christmas party for our residents. Thank you also to all the law enforcement and motor cycle groups who came together to make it such a special time for all.
