Our Reedy Acres Campus is located on a beautiful 25-acre campus built around a lake on Highway 7 in Water Valley and is named for Rev. M. Guy Reedy, Senior Trustee of The BCV and longtime pastor of First Baptist Church, Water Valley. Reedy Acres is the result of his vision and persistent hard work. Here, children live in one of two cottages: Berry Cottage or Brown Cottage. During their stay with us, each child lives in a cottage on one of our seven campuses with other residents and Christian adults called Houseparents. In the cottage, the child will share a bedroom with one or two other children. Each child has their own bed and closet space. The children attend local public schools and Baptist churches in the community, and participate in many recreational activities, both on and off campus.
Needs & Projects
Volunteers are an integral part of our ministry. Indeed, it is because of the generosity of thousands of volunteers throughout our history that The Baptist Children's Village has been able to provide quality care for countless children.
