Sergio Trejo, Director of Non-Residential Programs
Sergio A. Trejo is a Texas native who has lived and worked in Mississippi for more than 30 years. He received his Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in the Field of Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS. Sergio is licensed by The Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists. He is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner. Sergio has an extensive background in the helping profession and has worked with numerous community and service organizations, including adult and child protection services and working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled. In his role at The Baptist Children's Village, he leads the In-Home Family Support Program which allows The BCV to minister to children and families at an earlier point in the cycle of need by providing needed services in the home that can give the family new hope and help them avoid collapse.
