The Baptist Children’s Village mission is to help children and their families fully understand and experience the healing ministry of Christ by meeting their daily needs and inspiring them to become Christian adults who are happy, healthy and mature.
Mississippi Baptists purposed in the late 1800’s to provide a place where hurting Mississippi children could have their physical, emotional and, most importantly, their spiritual needs met. It has been a priority of the ministry throughout its history to provide quality care and to share and model Christ’s unconditional love to children and families.
Mississippi Department of Child Protective Services reports in 5,483 custody. There are additional children and families who are struggling in their homes and need hope. The Baptist Children’s Village exists to bring hope and healing to children and families in Mississippi through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
