The Mississippi Baptist Convention has designated Mother's Day, May 11, 2014, as a day of emphasis for The Baptist Children's Village.  These monetary gifts make it possible for The BCV to continue to care for, encouarge, guide and invest in the lives of deserving children.

Since 1897, The Baptist Children's Village has helped families heal and children succeed.  Today children ages 2-20 are a part of BCV families on seven residential campuses around the state.  In addition, at risk families also have the opportunity to meet S.A.F.E. Track goals (spiritual growth, academic achievement, family values and emotional stability) and create homes that are safe and stable for their children through The BCV Dorcas In-Home Family Support Program.

This summer when The Baptist Children's Village Alumni gather, we will be celebrating many stories.  Stories of happy lives, strong faith and committed families.  We will celebrate stories of children who have experienced success and healing because there was a time when they fell into the loving and supportive arms of The Baptist Children's Village.  Today our prayer is that families, through The BCV Dorcas In-Home Familiy support progam (non-residential) will find healing and hope; and that children on our seven residential campuses, in communities all over Mississippi will find faith in God and be equipped for success.
