The BCV Receives Gift from Carver Estate
The Baptist Children's Village is the recipient of a generous gift from Mr. Albert Carver who was a member at Park Place Baptist Church in Rankin County. Mr. C. F. "Charlie" Tillman, Executor of Mr. Carver's estate, (left) recently presented the gift to Dr. Rory Lee, Executive Director of The Baptist Children's Village (right). Mr. Tillman, long time friend and confidant to Mr. Carver and a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church, shared that though Mr. Carver had no children of his own, he always had a soft spot in his heart for our BCV children. We are grateful for his generosity through the years and certainly in this ultimate munificent gift.
