Lee Elected President of Baptist Child Care Executives

Dr. W. Rory Lee, Executive Director of The Baptist Children's Village, assumed duties as President of the Baptist Child Care Executives at the group's recent annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.

Baptist Child Care Executives is the national association of chief administrative officers from child care facilities supported by Southern Baptist in 19 states and the District of Columbia.  The organization allows for the exchange of ideas and successful strategies as each state deals with the challenges of caring for children who have been placed in their care.

The Baptist Children's Village has residential campuses in Hinds, Lincoln, Marion, Tate, Winston, and Yalobusha counties.  The BCV annually serves an average of 300 children statewide through the S.A.F.E. Track program.  This program addresses children's Spiritual, Academic, Family and Emotional needs.

In May, the Baptist Children's Village under Lee's leadership celebrated 112 years of service to Mississippi children.
